VOLUNTARY “TEACHER CHANG” SELECTION AND TRAINING
GOAL
 
  1. To offer perspective “Teacher Chang” volunteers preliminary training. 
  2. To enhance and promote guidance and counseling knowledge and concepts and methods for people in the community. 
  3. To increase personal understanding, self-exploration, and further stimulate self-growth.


TRAINING MODELS
 

Use problem-solving approach in counseling or other suitable models.

 

QUALIFICATION
 

Perspective volunteer trainees who acquire one of the following qualifications and commit to serve at least one year after the completion of training courses are welcome.

  1. Be a vocational school graduate (including open schools) with one year of working experience. 
  2. Be a university graduate (including open universities) or a graduate student. 
  3. Current college student (including technical schools) who is presently a sophomore or higher. 
  4. Student of open universities who has completed at least 80 credits.

 

TRAINING STAGES AND HOURS
 

There are three stages with a total of about 200-hour courses.

 

TRAINGING METHODS
 

1. Lectures on specific topics. 
2. Training group. 
3. Personal growth group. 
4. Homework assignments and reports. 
5. Other methods.

 

SELECTION AND ASSESSMENT
 
  1. To ensure the quality of training, the trainees will be assessed at the end of each stage, they may enter the next stage after passing the assessment process. 
  2. Assessment items: 
    -Attitude for learning (attendance and punctuality). 
    -Written examination. 
    -Oral examination. 
    -Completion of homework assignments.
-Performance within groups.
