About us

History in brief
China Youth Corps was the first youth institution of our country organized on the Youth Day (March 29) of 1952 by Chiang Kai-Shek, the late President of the Republic of China, for the purpose of addressing the needs of the youth at that period. Following a series of planning, CYC was founded in Taipei in October 31, 1952, with Mr. Chiang Ching-Kuo as the first President.

In accordance with the Law of People Organizations, CYC became the first organization registered as a juridical association under the Ministry of Interior on August 28, 1989.
